Death's Duelist

Death's Duelist was made for the Going Indie 2024 Game Jam. It is a small arena combat game where Death is your friend both literally and mechanically. You serve the Lord of Darkness, Death in his never-ending quest to damn souls to an eternity of darkness. 

The Objective

Win consecutive rounds in the arena without dying. Once you die, Death will allow you to choose a new soul to capture. These souls become stronger as your best round max increases. How far can you make it in the arena?

Known Bugs:

• Settings menu does not work while paused during combat in the arena
• Combat level doesn't properly scale
• You move slowly after winning a round
